15th November 2008
Windsurfing: Point Clear
Wind Direction: WSW
Wind Stength: 6
Surf / Sea State: flat
Air Temperature: 14
Sea Temperature: 12
Weather: thin cloud
Max Speed: 7 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 0.56 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Set off a bit later than planned and followed Pete, Ian and Mark down to Point Clear, Roger phoned to say he was In Levington but I was too far to turn back which I did think about as wind seemed to be dieing. Roadworks added 30 mins to the journey as my stupid GPS told me a better way than the diversion signs which sent me in a big circle back to where I started. Eventaully got down to the beach after a farm vehicle lead me on liesurely stroll through the country lanes, and an elderly man in a tiny car proved he could go even slower. Arrived to see Pete and Ian drifting in and Mark just about planing. I went out neverthelss as I had 2m more sail but there was hardly any wind. Nevermind, I got a record lowest speed ever on my GPS of 7knots!
Only bright sport was a chance to chat on the beach, and return a harness bar to SkiSurf that was too small. Lovely small beach that must be great when there is some wind.
